Fashion Week A/W '17 Trends / Highlights

Fashion fashion fashion. Seeing tons of different types of designs, textures, colours, hair trends, makeup, shoes etc. but what do we actually take away from it all? Personally, I think it's all a little overrated (thank God for being able to say this on my own blog) it's a lot of work of course and I truly appreciate all that goes into the production of it all. However a lot of it is also very much - who's sitting front row? What are they wearing? However we can surely take away tons of tips & tricks so I've kind of analysed this a little and see what we can actually take on board to match our personal style.
I mean we both know that if you genuinely took the exact outfit and wore it outside - you might just get a few looks. However the point of these slightly exaggerated looks is that we really understand the trends (e.g what colours, textures, lengths etc) the designer is representing to then take even smaller parts of it and combine with our own personality, style and moods!

So it all begins with New York, landing in London, moving to Milan and finally to Paris - there are plenty of styling tips, tricks and trends to note from the catwalk collections that we can take. I haven't personally attended all of these shows - but I was super lucky to visit a couple during London Fashion Week and sit front row at Paul Costelloe show (yay).

So for all of us at home / work / on-the-go I hope my little research on ALL of the fashion catwalks/presentations this season will give us a bit more of an insight into what to look out for and how to interlink this into our own wardrobes. After browsing for hours I surely noticed that New York shows have shared a darker mood - downright grunge, then Milan had a little bit of my fave sportswear-meets-goth attitude while in London things kicked off with a serious nod to ruffles, white shirts & feminine sleek touches ending it in Paris - with the statement oversized bags. I hope you enjoy these highlights I've personally chosen & find ways to interpret them into your Autumn Winter 2017 wardrobe! Which trend are you taking on board??
