Top 5 Nude Lipsticks You Need To Know About
Nude nails, nude scarfs, nude dresses, nude lips - this season is all about the brown, pastel pink, nude and blush tones including your lipstick shades. So I'm here to tell you my absolute favourites as I've tried and tested them all. Also ideal as stocking fillers for your girlfriends and mums.
Clinique Pop Matte Lipstick and Primer in Blushing Pop - SHOP
My most favourite tone of nude and No.1 for everyday wear. Clinique's Pop Matte collection is stunning as an overall (check out the layout on Clinique's website - such a great idea) and my most loved one is the Blushing Pop. This lipstick has a built in primer to smoothen lips, so you don't get that dry effect afterwards and stay moisturised during the day.

Talking about moisturising, no one enjoys having or looking at extremely cracked lips. This is a personal favourite for lips to avoid dryness on the go, ideal for a handbag and simply lasts absolute months. This one is perfect for your boyfriend too! No shine/gloss, simply soft and natural.
*tip* - apply a thick layer before bed to heal dry and cracked lips over night.

With a variety of nude tones to choose from this is a creamy, versatile formula that can be used as a lipstick, lip liner and blush. It's waterproof and long-wearing with a matte finish. I love the moisturising feeling it brings, it glides on effortlessly and applies easily. I literally have the full range; using the nude and lighter tones during the day and more pink and deeper tones for evenings.

This is an ideal shade for darker skin tones to get those perfect nude lips. This moisturising sheer and natural tint works for everyday wear and keeps lips smooth without drying them out.
Baby Balm & Blush in Shimmering Bronze - SHOP

TopShop Lips in Dreamy/Mauve - SHOP
I've never really looked into TopShop's makeup section until earlier this year when I saw this range of blush tones and tried on myself in-store. You can wear these alone or add gloss over them to create more shine, ideal for unexpected nights out after work.

Lipcote, Lipstick Sealer - SHOP
*tip when using Lipcote*
1. Make sure lips are exfoliated
2. Use non-oily lip balm (to avoid dryness)
3. After first layer of lipstick blot lips using tissue (gets rid of any dust/dry skin/lipstick bits)
4. Once happy with the lipstick - apply a thin layer of Lipcote and don't be afraid to go slightly over the lip line.
5. Have kiss-proof and smudge free lips all day
Hope you enjoyed this post, let me know what's your favourite Nude lipstick in the comments!
Love, Skai x
