Anniversary - The Shard

Time goes so fast when you're having fun, I can't believe it's been three years already! I won't bore you with lots of stories but Lee has been amazing to me,
nothing beats being with someone who is your best friend and you're always excited to visit new places and just simply spend time with that person no matter where you go.
I wasn't told where we were going at all so I was excited enough to arrive at this stunning apartment in London!
We relaxed and simply 'chilled' at the place for some time, took our time to get ready with some music on and got a cab to the next place where we were going to have dinner.
I wore a simple little black dress by Coast, it was ideal for such evening, if you're looking for something simple yet a elegant see it here
Honestly I didn't even know we were coming here, it was such a pleasant surprise as I've always wanted to visit this place especially in the night to see that view! There are actually a few restaurants, Lee has chosen the Aqua Shard one for us.
For those that read my blog will know that I am always honest and I would never pretend and lie, so I will tell you that the customer service at The Shard wasn't amazing. I'm sure we would all expect it to be your Top service in London at such a beautiful place, but unfortunately just to mention a few things; we were served by at least five different people - first of all that gives us no clue of who to thank/tip. Everyone kept filling our wine glasses like every five minutes and not allowing us to just enjoy our drink lol and at the end of our night one the workers got confused and mixed up bills. Just a few things that could have been so much smoother it wasn't a lot to ask for, however apart from the service, the place is absolutely stunning and the view is mesmerising!
Lee and I didn't bother complaining as we enjoyed our time together, that's what mattered to us, plus the dinner was lovely too. But I thought why not tell you the truth that unfortunately the service wasn't at all of what you would expect in one of the top restaurants in London.
As an overall we still really enjoyed ourselves just being together and chatting away. They did bring a little dessert to me with an anniversary note which was a nice gesture! I would love to come back to The Shard for next time maybe try out their breakfast with that view?;)

I hope you guys enjoyed the views as much as we did and let me know what you think of The Shard :)
