Body Power Expo - The Journey

Good evening, the weather in London is just typical...it's sunny and then it rains within the same 10 minutes, you just never know what to expect haha! Anyway since you're here, grab a cuppa and stay for a bit?

Last weekend we went to the Body Power Expo 2015! It was our very first time going, we've watched videos of it before but never been so it was super exciting. It is The Event if you're into health and fitness lifestyle, it has all the best products that are healthier, supplements, fitness clothing, fitness competitions, you name it! I was overwhelmed with it all couldn't believe that I've never been before.
We got to Euston station in London and the journey to Birmingham was around 1hour and 20mins I think, so not too bad.
As we arrived first thing on our minds was food haha, so we found Nandos and lunch'ed there for a while. Our tickets were for Saturday and Sunday so that day we just chilled and did a bit of travelling around Birmingham.
I usually get the butterfly chicken (two chicken breasts), medium spicy and treated myself to some chips with peri-peri salt as I knew I will need carbs/energy today!
Ferrero Rocher Frappe!! Had to be done...it was the 'secret' one on the menu so had to try it incase I never get such chance again :D
We grabbed some food/snacks to keep at the hotel during our stay such as green tea, rice crackers, yogurts and chicken slices etc.
Our hotel wasn't too far from the Expo around 15mins drive by cab, but I think next time we want to be even closer so we don't need to be booking cabs all the time as we got so exhausted after a long day it would've been much nicer to be closer and not have to pay extra. So if you're planning on going next year I advise book tickets & hotels asap to get the closer ones otherwise they will be fully booked.
I treated myself to a new gym bag that day too, so happy with it just what I wanted, simple and not too big. It goes over your shoulder and is so easy to carry :).
We also tried this BLK water, it's meant to be better for you and not have some of the acids water has etc. I quite liked it even though tastes just like water, have you ever tried it?
So this was Friday just a trip around Birmingham so far, I have the next post coming your way tomorrow evening so keep an eye out for that to see our day at the actual Body Power Expo and meet some of our fitness inspirations such as The Hodge Twins and more!
Hope you enjoyed this post, let me know if you've been around Birmingham yourself, any places you would advice for us to must visit next year?

Love, Skai x
